First Amendment Rights: 2001 U.S. Patriot Act

The Patriot Act was signed on October 26, 2001 in response to the 2001 terrorist attacks.  It broadened the government’s laws and restrictions related to national security.  Personally I felt there was nothing wrong with this.  It is natural of humans to change accordingly to their present state of life, and during that time period the government was worried about more terrorist attacks on US territory.  This article from ABC, http://abcnews.go.com/US/PollVault/story?id=833703#.UKv7y4anLTpshows the public’s majority of support for the Patriot Act, but they are against some more personal security lifts on the FBI.

I disagree because any unnecessary infringement on civil liberties is a very painful experience. However, I understand where you are coming from. I think that your example works well for this post. Great job.
